Actress Raima Sen says she has learned various subtle nuances of love through the films she has worked in.
Raima will be seen playing an interesting character of a young girl named Koel in Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Pradeep Sarkar's movie Parineeta , which is the celluloid adaptation of an enchanting love story that Bengali writer Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay wrote more than 70 years ago.
An IANS report quotes Raima as saying that she is “bewitched” by the subtle nuances of love that she has understood after working in films like Parineeta and Chokher Bali.
“There are so many nuances to love that I am just bewitched. Parineeta has its own subtle and not-so-subtle nuances that I really enjoy. Chokher Bali was fabulous because it too taught me different layers of love and how people behave when they are in love and what is love all about,” Raima is quoted.
Daughter of actress Moon Moon Sen and granddaughter of legendary Bengali actress Suchitra Sen, Raima is aware of her distinguished lineage. But she says she doesn’t want to imitate them and want to retain her own identity.
Raima’s forthcoming projects include Rituparno Ghosh's Antarmahal and Anubhav Sinha's Dus.
